One man run restaurant. Venue: Street parking. Causal setting. Rustic decor with African elements. Music. Reservation is highly recommended. Toilets at rear are stinky and the floor was wet. --- 7.3/10 Service: To be seated. Menus and cups of tap water was already placed on each table. The owner introduced himself briefly. He's friendly and attentive. He introduced the dishes more details when serving dishes. Good time management. Pay at the front desk. --- 8.5/10 F&B: Pan/modern African cuisine (south African and Indian fusion) as the Chef's heritage. A la cart is available. Every dish is attractive. Normal presentation and portion. Resonable price. As newcomers, we tried Feed me, $55pp (min 2pp): The chef selects 3 dishes to share and an individual dessert: - Polenta Fries served with Shakalska (South African Tomato Relish) and Mint yogurt: served very hot. Crispy fries (~5pcs) like small toasts. The Relish was good. --- 7.4/10 - Sweet and Sour Cauliflower in Zim okra soup: not very sweet or sour for me. Could be a bit more soup. A bit hard to scoop the okra soup. --- 7/10 - Mummas Chicken: There are approx 5 chicken chucks in Beans Curry served with biriyani and Muriwo (okra & silverbeet stew), and Paratha Roti 3pcs. Chef's style curry was good. Pretty unique. --- 7.8/10 - Milktart: Vegan dessert. Sprinkled Cinnamon power on the top. Small portion. Not sweet. --- 7.2/10

Gorgeous place with amazing chef/owner! Food was delicious and I cannot wait to be back. The owner really cares about his food and customers and makes you feel welcoke and taken care of! The best part is that there are so many vegetarian & vegan options, loved it! 🌱

We came here for my fiance's birthday and had an incredible experience. Everything looked amazing on the menu so we just trusted Dwight to feed us - he did not disappoint. The food was unique and flavourful, not like anything we've ever had (and we've eaten a lot of different food). It is a blend of African and Indian. To our surprise, the hightlight was the dessert. Kulfi is usually very sweet but Dwight's version had a wonderful spice-mix twist to it and crunchy toasted almonds. We would totally come back, sadly we are only visiting Perth... so maybe next time we're in town!

Dwight serviced the most well executed one-man show I have humbly had the chance to experience. A wonderful experience into Zimbabwean cuisine with a fresh twist. Expect flavourful souther African style cuisine with splashes of India influence. The balance is out of this world and will keep your tastebuds dancing for hours! The radicchio was ridiculously good. The fish roulette a must try. Along with the goat curry, which is deceivingly filling - half way through you’ll want to order another serving but be kind to your human intestines and let things sit. Don’t skip the dessert as nothing is quite what you expect. Thanks again Dwight!

Delicious food. We had the “Trust the chef / Feed me” option and every dish was full of flavour and so tasty. Dishes were a mix of African with Indian influence. Lots of deep and full spices Dwight (owner/chef) is incredibly friendly and his passion was infectious and inspiring. Highly recommended and definitely will be back.
