Very fast payment and fish and chips is very tasty and crispy. This place attracted many torusits from different country such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and middle east. Very popular! Supervisor was nice to help me take my photos in the restaurant too. Thank you so much Cicerello's.
They've got several very large beautiful colourful tropical fish tanks here in the main dining area and in the toilet corridor. It is very pleasant to sit outside on a beautiful sunny day but you might have to fight a few seagulls until they get the message that they are not wanted. You can buy gelato from the takeaway counter facing the main street. The cheesecake was really nice, the tea came in a big mug and the chocolate frappe was ok but a bit too sweet.
Cicerello’s fish and chips in Freo is an institution, and for good reason 🐟🍟 The fish and chips were divine. Batter was golden and super crispy without being greasy. Fish inside was thick, flaky, and fresh - you can tell it’s local. Chips were chunky, hot, and perfectly salted. Portion was huge too. Classic Fremantle waterfront spot. Casual, bustling, sea breeze, and seagulls eyeing your chips. You can eat overlooking the Fishing Boat Harbour which makes it taste even better. Fish quality is fresh WA catch, cooked to order with light and crunchy batter doesn’t overpower the fish. Generous portion- easily shareable that's why I can't finish the meal because I came alone. Dining outside is recommended to see boats, water, and that Freo atmosphere. Gets packed on weekends and during school holidays. Prices are touristy but you’re paying for the location and freshness. Totally lived up to the hype. If you want classic WA fish and chips with a view, Cicerello’s delivers. Divine is the right word.
The taste here is definitely on point, delivering that classic fish and chips flavor you expect. I opted for the Seafood Deluxe Platter to get a taste of everything they offer. It’s a great way to sample the variety, and the seafood itself felt fresh and well-seasoned. The only downside was the preparation of the fried items. The fried fish was quite oily, which made the meal feel much heavier than it needed to be. A bit more crispiness and less grease would have pushed this from a good meal to a great one.
Love this place so much. There prawn pasta was divine, one of the best seafood pasta I've had. On the other hand, there fish and chips was average. It would have been better if they use chicken salt in my opinion. But what I love.must is the ambience amd how the place is decorated. My son enjoyed looking at their aquarium.
