⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, one of the best wine tasting and dining experiences you can have in Perth. We started with a wine tasting at the cellar door with James, who made the experience truly memorable. His knowledge, passion, and genuine love for Sandalford wines really shone through, making the tasting both informative and enjoyable. We even ended up taking home their award-winning Shiraz (very affordable)! We were also lucky enough to dine on the very first day of the new five-course winter menu at the Restaurant. Every course was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly executed. Each dish flowed seamlessly into the next, making the entire meal feel like a carefully crafted culinary journey. It’s the kind of dining experience that leaves you excited for every course. A special thank you to our waitress, Tash, who was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive throughout the evening. She was always happy to help, made us feel genuinely welcome, and added a personal touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. From the outstanding wines and exceptional food to the wonderful service and beautiful vineyard setting, Sandalford exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting Perth or looking for a memorable winery and fine dining experience, this is a place not to miss. We can’t wait to come back!
The grounds of this place is extremely beautiful and well kept. The autumn leaves lining the way to the restaurant was a high point to start off the lunch. The staff were very welcoming, all had smiles on their faces and were really genuine people. We all immediately felt at ease. We had a lovely table opposite the food production area which was fascinating to watch them making the pizzas and other things. The food was divine. We had the pochetta, a pizza, a steak and some yummy starters and all of it was delicious and flavoursome. Thank you for making my birthday lunch so special.
Absolutely outstanding restaurant experience at Sandalford Winery in Caversham! We unexpectedly visited on Tuesday for lunch, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the Swan Valley. The restaurant ambience inside was exceptional — elegant, relaxing, and beautifully designed with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable immediately. Combined with the stunning vineyard surroundings, the whole place feels peaceful and luxurious at the same time. The food was absolutely superb. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and prepared to perfection using fresh quality ingredients. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they create. The menu selection was excellent, and every bite exceeded our expectations. A special mention to the staff, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, and nothing felt rushed despite the restaurant being busy. The combination of amazing food, outstanding service, beautiful ambience, and breathtaking location makes this restaurant truly special. Sandalford is not just a place to eat — it’s a complete dining experience that you will remember long after you leave. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Swan Valley. Exquisite. A beautiful venue in the Swan Valley and food of the highest quality to match incredible service. You really get what you are paying for, with fresh produce beautifully cooked, attentive but not over bearing service, and an atmosphere that really is hard to beat throughout the state. Sandalford has constantly delivered but since the refurbishment and the new Autumn menu has elevated the whole experience. Try the octopus, the lamb rump and the porchetta - all sensational - even the affogato is top notch with presentation. Not just for special occasions, but you do feel special when you are there. PS - Although a meat eater some of the vegetarian options sounded amazing and considering to return just to try these options.
