We had a wonderful dinner at Nuncio in Fremantle. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the food was authentic Italian cuisine done beautifully. The wine selection was also a highlight and paired perfectly with our meal. We especially appreciated being able to sit outside and enjoy dinner with our dog, which made the evening even more relaxed and enjoyable. We will definitely be back again in the near future.
We want to come again! Had dinner with my wife on Saturday 30 May. Made a late reservation so we couldn't get a nice table looking out front. But Nunzio himself took excellent care of us. Suggesting how we should sequence our dishes and which wines to pair with. We had the zucchini flowers, duck ravioli, sardine spaghettoni, and squid ink spaghetti. You can see we like pasta. The pasta was al dente. The dishes were perfect. Grazie Mille Nunzio!
We had the most wonderful time At Nunzio's. The food was phenomenal and the staff/friendliness was simply amazing. Nunzio himself (he hails from Sicily) welcomed and greeted us, his daughter in law (Eva) and even her husband (Fabio, he is the chef) stopped by to chat with us. The octopus-ink-pasta with ragout was a standout dish... Please do yourself a favor and plan dinner at Nuncios!
From start to finish, this place completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was inviting the second we arrived, and we were greeted with genuine warmth and taken straight to our table. The wine selection was superb and set the tone perfectly, but the food truly stole the show. Warm, freshly baked bread to begin, scallops that were unbelievably delicate, and meatballs bursting with rich flavour while remaining incredibly tender. The chicken was beautifully moist, and the gnocchi was pure comfort on a plate. The homemade fettuccine with brisket and Chianti ragù was outstanding, rich, slow-cooked, and full of deep, comforting flavours. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived. The espresso crème brûlée was hands down the best I’ve ever had absolute perfection. Our host for the evening was exceptional: knowledgeable, passionate, and a joy to listen to. This was a night that reminded us what true hospitality feels like, timeless service, outstanding food, and excellent wine. An unforgettable dining experience.
Wowzer. I can't recommend this beautiful restaurant anymore. The moment we walked through the door till we left was amazing. Smiling welcoming waitress walked us to our table and it got better. We had some absolutely beautiful wines and then the food came out. Outstanding the bread roll was warm are fresh. The scallops were melt in the mouth. The meat balls had such amazing flavour yet so soft and tender. The chicken was soft and jucy and the gnochi was divine. Then the best to last the sweet list came out. Ooooh lord I was in heavy Espresso creme Brulee was the best I have ever had. We were served by the most absolutely amazing man who was full of soooo much information. It was such a amazing night. Old fashioned customer service with beautiful perfect food and wine.
