Great base to get to places. The menu is great if your there for some time not alot of choice. Breakfast is fantastic choices. The rooms are big and very clean. The staff are very friendly and strive is good 👍
Two days of conference and workshops were hosted for us by the team here - staff couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent food choices for all, free parking for delegates, ideal facilities with handy bathroom and breakout spaces, accommodation and restaurant on site. Will return for future events for certain.
I loved everything about Swan River Hotel. The rooms were spacious, the bed was extra large king and very comfortable. It was clean and felt luxurious. The bathroom had everything you needed for an overnight stay . The restaurant was convenient and had very nice meals. Staff were welcoming and very friendly, even the manager mingles with houseguests. I would definitely stay at Swan River Hotel and highly recommend it.
very much a mixed bag ... Rooms REALLY dated - poorly maintained. Restaurant + meals + conference area == well presented. Just that the rooms REALLY let this place down. I certainly WOULD'NT put any work clients up in this hotel ... for business ... it seems to be more of a FIFO overnight stopover these days. hotel had MAJOR renos in early 2000's (as can be seen as to detail of main/restaurant area) ... but rooms really need another reno. Rooms == not good. 1st one == badly smelt of mould ... "as if" a water pipe had burst at some point - and the cleanup was incorrectly done. 2nd room == fridge wasn't working properly - nothing kept cold. let's not forget about the constant guests that smoke (filling whole corridor of building) +++ the recent fire alarm due to this. or even ... the homeless people that seem to camp/sleep undercover at night - where we parked our cars !!! main reasons to choose this place == location (to racecourse + airport) +++ disability toilets/access. overall - think everyone enjoyed their stay ... but could've been sooo much better experience ... this hotel has sooo much potential.
