We got there Late evening had a hard time finding the place ,"not well signed out front, had 3 goes at finding the alleyway out back, eventually got in the foyer to get the key needs to be better set up, found the gate in the alley parked car door to foyer needs to be better signed, went up lift then back down some stairs then unlock another door a bit lke a rabbit warren, "Harbourside Luxury" I think NOT, sounds lovely BUT you overlook a dirty back alley then a train line , a road then old freight buildings ,"no sign of a Harbour, the rooms are not sound proof, A train goes by at about 530 am , need I go on , personally I would never stay hear again, "If you expect a Harbourside Luxury Apartement you will be saddly disapointed " .
A standard apartment that has been incorrectly advertised as “luxury”, “modern” and “with balcony views overlooking the harbour”. We stayed in apartment 2 for four nights. Firstly the good things - great location for access to all Freo has to offer, short walk to bathers beach and apartment is well equipped and spacious. The provided snacks were appreciated. Now the bad. Let’s start with the train. The balcony for apartment 2 overlooks a train track. There is no harbour view (as advertised on the website) and not a glimpse of water. The train runs at all hours of the day and night and is very noisy making it extremely difficult to get a full night sleep. We were awake at 4.30am on multiple occasions as the train rattled past. The apartment is not “luxury”. It is well equipped, functional and a little dated. It should be advertised and priced as such. The free wifi was patchy. We streamed Netflix a few times and only got to watch 15 minutes at a time before the wifi dropped out and was then unavailable. Unacceptable by today’s standards where fast, free wifi is a common inclusion for accommodation bookings. This is a clean, basic and functional apartment with a balcony view over 2 car parks and a train track. It would have attracted a good review if advertised honestly and priced accordingly.
