I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed meal, and every single dish was presented beautifully. The beef carpaccio was a standout, with the perfect balance of flavours and a lovely drizzle of sauce. Everything we ordered arrived looking fresh and vibrant, and the portions were just right. I am already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu.
Fantastic place for small group meals or dinner dates! Lunch time vibes have a cozy, intimate, jazz lounge feel to it, while at dinner the place transforms to have more of a lively, cocktail bar. Lighting, decor, and set up are beautiful and I’ve come for group dinners in the private room, as well as 1:1 meals in the main dining area. Staff are really accommodating and attentive, and pace the food nicely, so it’s great if you like taking your time to enjoy meals with friends. Would definitely recommend the set menus, a bit pricey but well worth it. They’re tapa sizes so ideal if you like having a taste of everything. They were also very accommodating to dietary requirements when we had a bigger group and provided options for individual people’s needs, even with set menus!
I love the aesthetics of this place such a cool vibe great mood lighting for a date night. The service was attentive but not pushy. All dishes were delicious can't wait to come back. Wish they still did $30 express lunch though!
I’ve now visited twice and I had a better experience on the weekend. I think during the week the venue was under staffed so service was a bit slow to get started and then our warm mains took really long. We ended up there from 6:30pm till 8pm based on the speed of service. The food when it arrived was delicious and I have to say it’s best chicken katsu I have ever had. The umeshu cocktail was amazing and all of the other food was delicious. I’d say the tuna tartar was probably the weakest dish but was still good and fresh.
