A long Greek lunch done properly. We came in for lunch at FARRA and ended up staying far longer than planned ... which, given the place, feels like the intended outcome. We started with the house-baked koulouri and flatbread with taramasalata, and it set the tone immediately: warm bread, still steaming, and a tarama with real depth to it. The octopus yiouvetsi was the standout of the meze for me — tender octopus, the pasta soaking up all that rich sauce — and the rabbit meatballs were a genuine surprise. You don't see rabbit on many Perth menus, and these more than justified the decision to put it on this one. For mains, the Skull Island prawns were exactly as good as that name promises: enormous, sweet, cooked with restraint so the produce did the talking. The pork tomahawk was the showpiece — properly charred on the outside, still juicy through the middle, and generous enough to make the whole table happy. We drank Greek throughout, a white to start and a red with the mains, both from a wine list that clearly has someone thoughtful behind it. Being pointed toward Greek varietals rather than the safe international options was half the pleasure. Which brings me to Eze, who looked after us from the first pour to the last. Warm, genuinely friendly, and knew the menu and the list inside out without ever pushing. Service like that turns a good meal into a memorable one, and it's the reason we'll be back — and asking for him. Perth is lucky to have this one.
I don’t usually take the time to write Google reviews, but I absolutely had to share my experience at Farra ! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The welcome, the service and the atmosphere were all exceptional. But the real star is the food ! Everything is made in house with incredible attention to detail, and you can taste the quality in every bite 😋 Starting dinner with the oysters was the perfect choice. They were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The new winter menu is absolutely delicious and full of wonderful surprises. We especially loved the Kakavia soup, which was incredibly flavourful and packed with rich, comforting flavours. The new octopus dish was also exceptional. They totally deserve their hat ⭐️ Every detail reflects the passion, care and talent behind this restaurant. A truly memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to come back!
Congratulations to the team , everything is a success. Food is so well done and accurately Mediterranean, and perfectly seasoned. Fresh and hot and delicious. I recommend you go there to try a new cuisine in perth .
Staying at this hotel has been a delight, and this restaurant was the cherry on top. I've tried several spots in the city, but the flavors here are on another level. A huge thank you to the friendly staff for making our meal so special.
Love the atmosphere. The food was amazing as well! Took a while for me to understand the menu but the waitresses were helpful. I would definitely go back.
