We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was such a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, Grace made us feel incredibly welcome. She patiently walked us through the menu, answered all our questions, and made sure the birthday celebrant felt truly special. The restaurant has a beautiful, relaxing ambience, the dining area was spotless, and even the restrooms were exceptionally clean, which says a lot about the attention to detail. Every dish we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The 48-minute drive was completely worth it, and thanks to Grace's outstanding customer service, we'll happily make the trip again. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and staff who genuinely care about making your visit special.
Such a succulent Seafood. There is a lot of Gluten free options to choose from. My Barramundi was so very tasty. They have refitted this restaurant so well with very attractive references to the sea. The staff and service was very attentive. We will definitely go back. in fact I have already booked us in for our anniversary 🎉
Went with my partner, and absolutely loved the experience there. The lobster linguine was amazing! Slightly spicy for me, but still very flavourful, pasta was al dente with a nice kick and fresh seafood. Their chocolate brownie is also amazing, chocolatey and soft. The staffs are very welcoming and attentive making the experience even better. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic food, great drinks. Very attentive and friendly staff/ service, even with a toddler & a baby! Highly recommend The cray in Gooseberry Hill. Beautiful venue, gorgeous design. Great family night out. Will definitely be returning, thank you.
We've been meaning to try The Cray for ages, but my mum has a seafood allergy. It's not life-threatening, but it does cause quite a bit of swelling and discomfort, so seafood restaurants have always felt a bit risky but I'm so glad we finally went. From the moment we mentioned Mum's allergy, the staff were fantastic. They took the time to discuss options with her and took extra care with preparing her meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and it meant Mum could actually relax and enjoy dinner instead of worrying about what might happen afterwards. We had garlic prawns, the mushroom entrée, grilled lobster, steak and lobster, and the seafood chowder. Mum had a steak with salad and vegetables. Every dish was delicious. Good food will get us through the door, but the care and service are what will bring us back. It's awesome to find a seafood restaurant where Mum felt looked after and included. We'll definitely be back. And yes, that includes Mum.
