Take a step back in time as you hike along the historical Victoria Reservoir Walk Trail in Korung National Park. Admire the beautiful wandoo and she-oak forests that compliment the granite outcrops and enjoy the views from different vantage points along the way. Admire the amazing valley views, giant granite boulders, open vistas, and city skyline views as you make your way along this history-rich Perth hiking trail. Take in the incredible blue waters of the reservoir before moving on to the old Victoria dam for a dose of history. When you reach Australia’s oldest wooden bridge – The Mason & Bird Tramway, enjoy a delicious gourmet morning tea before finishing your hike with some amazing valley views and boulder hopping. This is a very scenic and interesting trail with lookouts, interpretive signage, granite outcrops, and a multitude of landscapes to admire.   • What to Bring: Backpack with 2-3L of water | Camera | Personal first aid/medications | Hat, sunscreen & insect repellent | Sturdy hiking or walking shoes | Raincoat & warm layer | A sense of adventure & a big smile! Terrain: Total hike distance is 7kms, the terrain is relatively flat and graded as level 3 terrain. There is one rocky ascent but the rest of the terrain is quite flat and even. We recommend sturdy shoes with good grip. The trail is achievable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness but no hiking experience necessary. Accessibility: Suitable for people living with a cognitive disability/autism, and low hearing. May also be suitable for some people with low vision or other disabilities; please contact us to discuss your ability and we will do our best to adapt our experience so you can join in the adventure!
