With natural wonders, wildlife, cultural insights, and comfortable accommodation, this trip is the perfect introduction to Western Australia. Day 1: Perth – Kalbarri Begin with a coastal walk at the Greenhead Three Bays Walks before lunch at Dynamite Bay. Travel along Indian Ocean Drive, stopping at the vivid Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake. Continue north to Kalbarri’s rugged coast, visiting Natural Bridge and strolling Castle Cove. Stay overnight in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River meets the sea. Meals: None. Accomm: Kalbarri Edge Resort or similar. Drive: 575km. Hike: 2km. Day 2: Kalbarri – Monkey Mia Start early to explore Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and the Skywalk in Kalbarri National Park. During wildflower season, the gorge glows with colourful blooms. Stop at Billabong Roadhouse for lunch (own expense), then continue to Shell Beach for a walk along its tiny white shells. Arrive at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, staying beachside within Shark Bay’s World Heritage area. Spend the afternoon relaxing, kayaking (optional), or spotting turtles, dugongs, emus, and kangaroos. Meals: Breakfast. Accomm: RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. Drive: 450km. Hike: 3km. Day 3: Monkey Mia – Geraldton Meet the famous Monkey Mia dolphins for great photo opportunities. After the morning interaction, enjoy free time or join an optional wildlife cruise to spot dugongs, turtles, sharks, rays, and sea birds (own expense). Late morning, visit Eagle Bluff for elevated coastal views, then return to Denham for lunch. Travel south with stops at Overlander Roadhouse and Galena Bridge before reaching Geraldton for your final seaside night. Meals: Breakfast. Accomm: Hospitality Geraldton Motel. Drive: 385km. Hike: 1km. Day 4: Geraldton – Perth Visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial and Point Moore Lighthouse before travelling to Port Denison for a foreshore walk. Continue to Jurien Bay for a jetty stroll, then enjoy lunch at Cervantes’ famous Lobster Shack followed by a factory tour. Finish at Nambung National Park to wander the Pinnacles Desert. Relax on the final drive before returning to Perth around 6:30pm. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch. Drive: 465km.   • Age Restrictions: Children aged 6 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. The tour is not suitable for infants or children aged 5 and under due to safety requirements and the physical demands of the walks.
  • Fitness Level: Travellers can expect some light physical activities. Travellers should be mobile enough to walk unaided. A doctor’s certificate is required for participants over 75 years old, submitted at least 30 days prior to travel.
  • Solo Travellers: Solo travellers who book separately in a Shared Accommodation (MM4-B) will be paired with another solo traveller in a twin or triplet room, where possible of the same gender but not guaranteed.
