My happy place. Nice inclusive and fun atmosphere with great tunes 🎶
I love Toots, but my Velvet Lounge booking was disappointing. After booking it online, I emailed a month out to update a dietary requirement and ask a question. I had to reach out via IG to see if someone could follow up on my email, I then received one reply saying they’d follow up, I then followed up again— but heard nothing until the day after the event confirming gluten-free options had been served. For the first hour (of our 1.5 hour booking), our table only had bread and hard butter until we asked where the rest of the food was. By the time it arrived, we’d already eaten the bread that was meant to go with the dip, so didn't eat the dip. I’m still not sure we received everything in the package. To add, the lounge lights weren’t switched on for our sitting — we ate in the dark/by phone torchlight until about 9/9:30 when someone finally turned them on and by that time it was open to the public. Toots is always a fun time, but the lack of communication and attention to detail kind of sucked this time around. (I responded with the feedback above - but received no response/acknowledgement - hence turning to Google)
