What a fantastic experience the Truffle Degustation was. We arrived early and were offered a quieter table at the front of the restaurant which we were happy to take. Our French waitress was friendly and efficient and got us wine promptly and explained the history of the wine we bought. The food came quickly but we were given plenty of time between dishes and never felt rushed. Each course was absolutely delicious, my favourite was the Mushroom Truffle Ragu, my husband said his Beef Tartare was the best he had ever had. The steak was beautifully cooked and the crème brûlée was perfect. I would have loved a bit more truffle taste but the truffle did enhance the food rather than overwhelm it. The wine was lovely too and I wanted to take a bottle home! We will be back to try the à la carte menu. One of the best meals we have had.
Had the truffle degustation menu with the Exclusive French wine pairings and it was amazing! Each dish was so delicious and the wine pairings were perfect! The waiter explained where each wine was from in France and why it pairs so well with the dish. Such a nice and cozy atmosphere inside too. Will definitely coming back again to try out their other seasonal degustation menus and their à la carte too!
Food is outstanding, ambience is spot on and the staff are friendly and attentive. Each dish had burst in your mouth flavour paired with textures and multiple elements to complete them. Would definitely come back again. They also have very reasonable mid week offers so check them out too
Second time dining at Madeleine and equally as enjoyable as the first. Food is always top tier, some of the best plates of food you'd find anywhere and of such high quality. Portions are great and staff are attentive and consistent. Went this time for my Partner's birthday and had an early dinner - will be back and highly reccomend. P.S get all the cheese on the ala carte menu - all worth it with a glass of vermouth.
What a sensational seafood degustation menu. All dishes were superb. One of our group members is not fond of salmon so the wait service person was happy to swap it out for a chicken liver parfait. Great wine list to suit refined palates. Range of prices on the wine menu. Cocktails were awesome
