Lovely setting, generous portions of yummy breakfast and excellent coffee. Service was slow and often staff walked past when we tried to order. Hence unimpressed when cashier rung up the bill and pressured for a tip. The service wasnt worthy of a tip and it’s not the US where staff are paid low wages. Nice try mate.
The octopus was a little chewy for my liking but the sauce was really tasty. The beef tartare was well balanced and full of flavour. The pina colada was lovely and refreshing. Really enjoyable experience! The outdoor seating with beach view was stunning. If you're coming with a big group, it's better to book ahead.
This was an absolutely beautiful experience. It was a balmy night and we sat on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We were treated to one of the most picturesque sunsets that WA puts on for us. The staff were friendly, efficient knowledgeable - and sensible enough to find out when they didn't know, which is so appreciated. The drinks came quickly, as did the food. It's so true - we eat with our eyes as well as our mouths, and these meals did not disappoint. Beautifully presented and delicious. I can't wait to go back again.
We had a fabulous time at Longview, trying shared plates and white wine. There’s a great selection of both. Best of all were the tiger prawns which were sublime. And I’ve just learned we’re coming back to Cottesloe at the end of our 2 week break; might have to come back to try the rest of the menu.
