Bathurst Lighthouse
Perth
Reseñas
Bathurst Lighthouse provides a good experience for visitors, standing out with the delightful surprise of offering a sweeping vantage point over the entire surrounding beach area. Located on Rottnest Island near Perth, this scenic attraction is highly accessible by taking a short fifteen-minute walk from the main ferry pier. Although situated on the top of a hill, it remains incredibly easy to reach as it is just a small incline, though standard car parking is unavailable due to the island’s pedestrian-friendly nature. There is no specific dress code required to visit, allowing for a completely relaxed and casual stop. Visitors can admire the beautiful historic architecture of the building from the outside, even though entering the inside of the lighthouse is strictly prohibited. This destination makes for an excellent one-off photo opportunity during an island trip rather than a location requiring a repeat visit. As a final helpful warning for customers, there are no public restrooms located near the lighthouse, so it is best to plan ahead before making the short trek up.
Nice walk /ride to the lighthouse. Very lovely lookout
A really cool spot to check out when visitn Rottnest Island. The views are something else. The beach nearby is stunning and not so busy! I flew my drone and got some nice footage, but found out late in the afternoon that the Island does not allow the use of drones....but id already gor the footage and thought I'd share.
