Loved everything about this place. The venue is gorgeous, we got a booking at the “next door” dining room as main dining room was booked, but actually preferred the next door venue, darker interior and lighting, very romantic. Food was a 10/10, service was great, I’ve recommended to my friends too, going back for sure. They are usually booked out most of the time specially weekends so book early.
Had a wonderful dinner here. Food and service were both excellent. Four days later I’m still thinking about how delicious the potato agnolotti special was 🤤 Lovely vibe as well, it’s a large venue but the different rooms make it feel more intimate.
Another fantastic meal. Deleted my old review to add a new one. Greeted by friendly and professional staff, and cared for by the lovely Silvia who made sure we were comfortable and not waiting on anything. Drinks came quickly and were delicious, followed by the entrees and the delicious pasta. Everything was perfect, and finished with the best tiramisu we've ever had. Had the fortune of meeting the head chef Leo as well. His professionalism and passion explain the quality of the food. All in all, a great night. One of the best restaurants we've eaten at, and very reasonably priced for the service and quality. At double the price it would still be better than some high end restaurants in Perth.
First time visiting Vin Populi, and we just happened to walk past and decided to give it a go — glad we did. The place was busy with a really enjoyable atmosphere. The team here are friendly and clearly know their food well. The menu is written on a chalkboard wall, which adds to the casual, relaxed vibe. There’s also a great selection of wines to choose from. The food was magnificent — easily the best we’ve had since arriving in Perth. Every dish was full of flavour, well balanced, and didn’t need any extra seasoning at all. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after proper pasta, great starters, and overall quality food. The desserts looked amazing too — we saw the tiramisu and the house-made doughnuts, and honestly wish we had more room to try them. We’ll definitely be back next time.
Came here at the weekend and thankfully they had a last minute booking. One of the nicest meals out I’ve had in ages. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and professional making sure we all had what we needed throughout the evening. I had the seafood risotto and it’s got to be one of the best risottos I’ve ever had, I now have an unachievable bench mark for the rest of my life. Everything everyone ordered was lovely, and the wines were delicious too. Highly recommend a visit!
