If you’re in Fremantle, you have to eat here! Only have one evening in town? Make it Pickled Poppy. Great atmosphere, good beer and the food is absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend the Mushroom & Potato Pizza and the Lasagne, both were delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
Best pizzas in freo this side of Italy! Proper chic restaurant oozing Melbourne wine bar speak easy type vibes, friendly service within cozy setting. Shout out to Big T for making it one not to forget!
I lost count of how many times I’ve been here. Boss Tony is always so welcoming, and he is truly the best chef! He’s super passionate about cooking, really creative, and never afraid to try new things. He’s always coming up with amazing new dishes that totally blow my mind every time. He also really listens to what you need. I'm on a diet, so he customizes my meals to be super healthy and low-calorie and taste amazing! ! His food isn't just food, it’s filled with love that comforts you and makes you feel right at home. A big shoutout to the amazing bartender and waiter Matt as well! He is incredibly friendly and always gives the absolute best service. I’m so happy I found this place. It always gives me that warm, homey feeling❤️ P.S. The boss has an absolute banger of a playlist! Great music taste🤌
We had such a lovely time at The Pickled Poppy. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It’s a really nice place to sit and unwind. I wasn’t super hungry, so I ordered the mezze dip with bread and it was really nice — perfect for something light. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna pizza. It wasn’t really his thing, but that just means we’ll have to come back and try some of the other pizzas on the menu. Overall such a great vibe and we’ll definitely be back!
A hip little eatery in Fremantle with excellent wait staff and quite good atmosphere with the glass bi folds open. I ordered the cheese pizza style bread with Hummus dip, it was yummy and sufficient for a Sunday snack. They carry a quality range of wines also, as I got to try a King Valley white which I had visited that region earlier in the year.
