Had the Chilli Mussels and it was really good. The only bad thing was the bread, which was small just a small sordough roll. My friend had the same dish and his bread was a normal sordough flatbread you would expect to have with Mussels.
So very disappointing! I felt embarrassed as a local for what tourists would think. The food was well below average, and very overpriced ($90 for 2 tiny glasses of Shiraz, limp entree salt and pepper squid, ok 3 small beef skewers and some of the worst hot chips I’ve had in a pub. How can a pub not serve decent hot Chios?!) The music choice would appeal to many but the volume was incredibly loud. We managed to stay but it was close. As a past waitress during uni, the staff should keep an eye on the clientele and adjust accordingly especially at lunch. The vast majority were over 30. The only positives were the views and the efficient and friendly service. Avoid - the food and noise was bad enough to warrant a miss. Go to the OBH pub down the road. Regretted that we didn’t do that.
