My husband and I visited the winery for a late lunch and had a wonderful experience. Even though it was quite late in the afternoon (almost 4 pm) and the venue was very quiet, the ladies looking after us were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. I ordered the creamy chicken risotto, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was very generous, served hot, and made with quality ingredients. My husband had the steak sandwich and loved it as well. We also tried the beer tasting paddle with six different beers, and every single one was enjoyable and full of flavour. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and well worth the visit. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service, and we’ll definitely be back.
Lovely evening at the Abbey. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food delicious and quick to arrive. Great range of beers. A generous offer of free ice creams for the kids was really thoughtful. They enjoyed playing on the large grassy area too and seeing kangaroos at dusk. Will be back soon!
What an exceptional find! We have discovered the exceptional hidden gem in the valley. We enjoyed fantastic food, brilliant service and our beloved puppies were welcome! There is no question we will be back with friends to enjoy this great offering. Absolutely recommend that you get along and try this venue. Thank you for taking such great care of us. The restaurant provides a superb dining experience characterized by excellent food and an expansive array of beers on tap. Furthermore, the attentive service and professional management make it an outstanding choice for families. I highly recommend the Weinsteffan on tap or if unsure Tony and Simone and they will be able to guide you.
Absolutely fantastic experience at The Abbey at Chester’s. The service was excellent from start to finish, the food was delicious, and the beer selection is one of the best around. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Add to that a great setting and relaxed atmosphere, and it all comes together perfectly. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended!
