Cute little sushi place, May be a bit hard for parking and also for getting table as it really is cute and little. The staff were very lovely and accommodating for us (a family of 5 seated outside) many people were coming as we were seated so definitely a popular little place. Food was great, I cant speak on authenticity but it was flavoursome and the drinks (smoothies) were a perfect pairing imo. We would definitely go back to try other dishes.
Not bad of a cafe, and decent food tucked in a residential area in Joondalup. We absolutely love the chicken katsu curry rice. The salmon sushi burger was also good, but personally the fatty salmon and the fried rice 'bun' was a bit oily for me. The Greentea and Yuzu fizz we ordered, were perfectly cold and refreshing for a hot day. Would come back again to try other menu items.
I enjoyed the Japanese food. I ordered a croquette and a miso chocolate drink. The croquette was delicious, and the sauce was really good. The drink was called a miso chocolate drink, but I couldn’t taste any miso flavour—it just tasted like a regular chocolate drink. The inside of the store was a bit small, and the music was Korean. Since the menu is very authentic Japanese style, I was hoping to hear Japanese music, so I was a little disappointed.
Beyond a 5 star because this sushi here is easily the best in Perth and without a doubt beats most if not all other places. The cuts of the sushi were thick, tender and melt in your mouth. The flavours served up are what you expect from a high end restaurant let alone in the suburbs behind Joondalup. This place does get quite busy and it is easily understandable why. Definitely will be back!!
Everything was great - the smoothies were amazing, beautifully prepared food and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. The only thing that wasn’t too good was parking, very limited road side parking and mostly residential parking for local residents only. So read the signs. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place :)
