The best tasting fish and chips south of the river. The cooking oil is never old, fish portions are generously sized with adequate thickness; the pineapple rings, Dim sims, Crab Sticks + Potato scallops are " to die for"
Excellent fish and chips. Great serving size. Old school fish and chips shop... serving quality food.
This was our first visit and we were more than pleasantly surprised. We ordered a meal for 2. The fish was fresh, and recommended. We had the fisherman's basket today and Ashburton have done it again. Best fisherman's basket and the chips were crisp and fresh as usual. Carissa took my order and was so professional and accommodating. She was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Carrisa. This shop is highly recommended.
