Reviews
I was warmly greeted by the most friendly staff Rahul and Pasang 🙂 and in no time in the comfort of a well furnished queen bed sized room. The room is fitted with all the possible facilities you would need on a stop over or a stay. The accommodation is affordable and comes with the necessary comfort and security. I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone. Good job guys and do keep up the great work. 🙏👍🙂💕
The staff were available and very warm! Very sympathetic. On the other hand, the cleanliness and condition of the apartment really leaves something to be desired. There was not on the bed and a down with a large spot, it looked like someone had urinated on it... Then dirty places, poorly washed, broken chest.
We finished our second stay at the Ascot Apartments, and it has officially become our go-to spot. If you are looking for a seamless, high-quality experience, we can highly recommend it. The Accommodations We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite, which was perfect for our needs. It truly felt like a home away from home. Convenience: Having an in-unit washer and dryer was a total game-changer for a longer stay. Kitchen: The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals comfortably. Perks: The free parking is a massive bonus for the area, and the location itself is fantastic—putting you right where you need to be. Amenities & Atmosphere We made it a point to use the pool and jacuzzi every single day. Both were clean, well-maintained, and the perfect way to unwind. We also looked forward to the self-service breakfast each morning. While it’s a simple spread, it was fresh and satisfying—and the pancake machine was a huge hit with us every day! Management & Service This is where the Ascot truly shines. The management team is excellent. They are incredibly responsive and solve any minor issues almost immediately. We were particularly impressed by how they handle the safety and comfort of their guests. During our stay, there was an unruly individual who refused to pay; management didn't hesitate to call the police and have them removed promptly. Seeing them take such a firm stand to maintain the hotel's standards made us feel very well looked after.
3 stars This is more of a roadside motel-style place. I got a cheap night here, so for the price I paid, I would rate it 3 stars. The room was clean overall, and the bed was clean. It had some useful extras like instant coffee, tea, a cookie, milk, shaving cream, hair dryer and a kitchenette, which was a nice plus. There was also parking available, a bus stop a short walk away, and an Indian restaurant across the road. I also noticed there was a small accessibility ramp/walkway for disabled guests, which was good to see. That said, the place feels quite dated. The TV was an old LCD model, the bathroom was old-style, and the overall setup and technology felt old. Reception and staff service could also be better, and there is no 24-hour reception, so guests should be aware of that. One issue was that I saw a cockroach on the sink, which was unpleasant. Another issue was the surprise $200 deposit for a one-night stay. I still have not received it back after 5 days. I am not basing the 3-star rating mainly on the deposit, but it was unexpected and inconvenient. Overall, it was clean enough and okay for a cheap one-night stay, but the place is dated, service could improve, and the cockroach and deposit situation were disappointing.
