Reviews
During my two-week stay at Freo Lodge, I really enjoyed my time there. The manager, Jayda, was always very friendly and helpful. The other backpackers and residents at the hostel were also kind and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. The location in Fremantle is very convenient. The nearest supermarket is just a short walk away, and both the beach and Fremantle town centre are easy to reach on foot or by bus. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily recommend Freo Lodge to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable place to stay.
What can I say, except that Jayda is one of the most inspiring souls I've ever met in my life. I know we're here to review the place, but it wouldn't be anything without the energy she brings to it. She’s the kind of person who will always do whatever it takes to make you feel good, never missing a chance to share a smile or a joke. Thank you for this year in Australia, thank you for the support, and thank you for everything you do for us travelers— whether we're arriving all stressed out or leaving feeling sad. Thank you for making our adventures so much brighter! And no, I haven't forgotten Pudding, the Freo Lodge mascot! Love you(na) from France
I only stayed at Freo Lodge for four nights, but it was a wonderful experience for me. The guests were friendly and made me feel welcome right away. I’m sure this is a place where wonderful people gather. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. Having a private rubbish bin was also very convenient. Each room is equipped with a security system, so I felt safe. It would be even better if there were shelves in the kitchen to store personal food bags. The manager, Jayda, is just as wonderful as the reviews say, and she does everything she can to make sure all the guests are happy. Thank you so much, Jayda! I definitely want to come back to this place again!
This was the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. The facilities are always clean, and the atmosphere is fantastic thanks to the great mix of people staying here. The on-site manager, Jayda, is wonderful. She’s incredibly helpful and truly cares about the guests. What really makes this place special is the sense of community. It feels like being part of a big, international family. It’s a very social hostel where people naturally end up going on day trips together, cooking together, and sharing experiences. Highly recommend staying here.
I really enjoyed my stay here! Jayda Was so lovely and was always more than happy to help any of the guests and made sure the place was always clean and continues to make improvements to the place. Overall the hostel has a great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in Fremantle!
